Medical And Healthcare
The UK has a growing demand for doctors and other professionally-qualified medical and health professionals. Equally, the level of healthcare professionals and doctors in China is high on the Chinese government’s agenda. China is looking to integrate Traditional Chinese practices with Western practice. This includes the use of pharmaceuticals and Chinese medicine; technology and devices; systems such as NHS and Good Practice. Generally the aim is to improve the overall level of medical and healthcare services available in China.
China recognises that the UK has one of the most advanced healthcare systems in the world for all of sub-sector groups mentioned above, and therefore CUK is involved in a number of major projects co-operating with NHS Hospitals, the Royal Society of Medicine, medical training providers and counterparts in China.
Opportunities exist for exchanges, technology and innovation training, co-operation and R&D initiatives.
