Recently the Chinese President visited UK. They agreed that Education would be a significant part of the developing relationship between UK and China due to the huge numbers of students that China anticipate will want to receive a UK education in the coming years.
They also agreed that, in order for this to happen, the relationship between education providers in UK and Chinese counterparts, needs to increase. The agreement in China has been actioned with support available for companies and education providers who can deliver in China.
UK education will be delivered increasingly more in China – this includes R&D institutes, vocational and higher education sectors. Opportunities exist for UK and Chinese education providers to create meaningful partnerships that include co-operation on a range of joint curriculum models, joint institutes, R&D collaborations, vocational and cultural exchanges and investment for new institutes, boarding, academic programmes and other facilities.
